This is my 2001 MX-5 named Mia. So far the modifications are mostly styling ones, with a K&N Typhoon induction kit to give it a bit more of a roar and a bit of engine bay bling. In future i want to add a Jackson Racing MP62 supercharger. I want to take the supercharging route rather than the more common turbocharging to preserve the sharp response and feel of the sports car as well as it being better for blasts down country roads.

Style wise, it has a rare japanese Garage Vary front bumper, with an offset number plate bracket i knocked up at work. The side skirts are from JDL tuning, and i'm trying to get a hold of the Racing Beat rear fairing kit for the back to finish off the look. It's lowered on fantastic BC Racing height and damping adjustable coilovers. I like the red and black theme i have going, and i'm looking at adding some carbon fibre parts and painting the insides of the headlights black to go with this.

The current wheels are 17" Rota Boosts in gunmetal grey, with Toyo T1-R tyres, but i think that a set of Dotz Touge Graphite wheels would be much more suited to the styling of the car now, with their much sharper lines than my rotas which looked good with the standard smooth body style.
